Medellin’s Museum
In collaboration with the Medellin Museum of Art, we developed an engaging microsite that offers a virtual journey through the premier museum retrospective dedicated to the renowned Mexican-American artist. This extensive exhibition, spanning an entire year, delves into Medellin’s contributions to sculpture, his notable public artworks, and his enduring impact on the community.
Octavio Medellin, celebrated for his diverse and investigative artistic methods, engaged with a variety of materials, shaping creations in wood, stone, and clay, while also venturing into the realms of metal, glass, printmaking, pottery, mosaic, and stained glass.
In homage to his vast oeuvre, we crafted an interactive map for the exhibition that’s both fun and informative. It guides visitors on a digital tour, uncovering the significant places, milestones, and public art pieces that mark the highlights of Medellin’s illustrious career.
